AICTE has opened its portal to accept the entries for Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards-2020
Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards is a joint initiative by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India to recognize, applauded, and honor the innovative work of the students displaying exceptional skills in different categories.
The initiative aims to encourage and motivate young students and institutions to raise their performance in their specific domains leading to significant contribution towards the growth and development of the nation as a whole.

AICTE Vishwakarma Awards 2020
The theme of AICTE Vishwakarma Awards-2020 is India’s Economic Recovery Post Covid; Reverse Migration and Rehabilitation Plan to support “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
The idea of the theme comes mainly from the three main challenges pushed over to Indian society by Covid-19 breakdown:
1. Reverse migration of workers
2. Food, income, and livelihood insecurity
3. Long-term disruption in urban economic activities
AICTE in a joint initiative with the HRD ministry of India is encouraging the students to find a solution to these challenges by developing an app-based/ AI/ Robotics/ IT-based solution for related challenges.
Who can apply for Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards-2020?
All institutions/ students as approved by AICTE are covered under this award. Nominations/Applications from girls/women are especially encouraged….!
